For now, from our reading of the numbers: Rangoon issued none in January and February 2026, against about 12 a month from March to December 2025.

The State Department’s scheduling tool does not cover diversity visas.

Visas issued show how busy the post is, not how long you will wait.

Most immigrant visa applicants at Rangoon are citizens of Burma, and their immigrant visas are suspended. They can still get an interview, but may not get a visa. Dual nationals who apply with the passport of a country not covered are an exception.
