Mexico City: F1 visas issued

Nonimmigrant visa: Student in an academic or language training program

From Mar 2025 to Feb 2026, Mexico City issued 2,176 F1 visas, about 181 a month, down 31% from the 12 months before. But it issued only 96 in January and February 2026, against about 208 a month from March to December 2025.

This counts visas issued, which shows how busy the post is, not how long you will wait. The State Department data here ends in February 2026, so it cannot show what has changed since then, such as pauses that started or ended later.
