The State Department’s scheduling tool does not list widows and widowers of U.S. citizens or their children.

Visas issued show how busy the post is, not how long you will wait.

Most immigrant visa applicants at Dakar are citizens of Senegal, and their immigrant visas are suspended. They can still get an interview, but may not get a visa. Dual nationals who apply with the passport of a country not covered are an exception.
