Immigrant visa: Diversity visa (green card lottery) winner, and their spouse and children

Visas issued, Mar 2025 – Feb 2026

Per month

For now, from our reading of the numbers: Dakar issued none in January and February 2026, against about 49 a month from March to December 2025.

The State Department’s scheduling tool does not cover diversity visas.

Visas issued show how busy the post is, not how long you will wait.

Most immigrant visa applicants at Dakar are citizens of Senegal, and their immigrant visas are suspended. They can still get an interview, but may not get a visa. Dual nationals who apply with the passport of a country not covered are an exception.
