Addis Ababa: F4 visas issued

Interview scheduling at Addis Ababa

NVC is scheduling most F4 interviews for cases that became documentarily complete in:

Family preference: F1, F2A, F2B, F3 and F4

July 2025

same as on Sep 23

Compare with the month NVC emailed you that your case was documentarily complete.

What this month means

It is not a wait time: it is the month NVC is scheduling most interviews for now, and it can move backwards. “Current” means NVC is already scheduling cases from the update’s month; it can also mean the post schedules none, so check the embassy’s own website (usembassy.gov). Documentarily complete: NVC has accepted all your documents.

Family preference and employment cases also need a current priority date in the Visa Bulletin.

Visas issued, Mar 2025 – Feb 2026

190

about the same as the year before

Per month

For now, from our reading of the numbers: Addis Ababa issued none in January and February 2026, against about 19 a month from March to December 2025.

Visas issued show how busy the post is, not how long you will wait.
